I am trying to find a setting which will stop ads from showing up wherever I go or at least on my home page, can you help?
I can't seem to find an ad blocker that works with Firefox, I simply want to stop seeing ads, but can't seem to shut them down, particularly from Google and Taboola, but frankly I don't care who they are I don't want to see random ads. I sure would appreciate a solution.

Try a program called "Ghostery" it is an add blocking program that will work for FireFox.
Try using uBlock Origin to block ads. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ublock-origin/
