How to set homepage as new tab page android?

I know that this question has been asked before, but the solutions offered don't seem to work. People have suggested using the addons new tab homepage and new tab override, but those extensions do not install on android. Is there anyway to set my homepage to open instead of the new tab page when I open a new tab? Thank you.

There's currently no way of changing new tab to homepage.

You can try using the homepage button app for easier reach: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/android/addon/home-button-for-ff-on-android/?src=ss
