I have noticed so many problems with FF and nothing Mozilla recommends helps because there seems to be a ubiquitous defect with the browser. There are tons of video and image issues that occur on various sites which cause videos to not play or crash and images to not show up at all. Added to that, FF randomly crashes for a wide variety of mundane reasons. Other browsers don't seem to have these issues but I stick with FF because they have a few add-ons not available on other browsers. I remember the day when FF was a great browser, free of any issues at all. I guess those days are long gone.

There are several possibilities as to the cause of the problems. First, let's do this;

In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.

The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.

Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.

(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)

After the above; Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

Is the problem still there?
