i recently purchased a new computer and was able to create a backup file of my contacts.Is there any option recovering contacts without access to old pc?

I recently purchased a new PC and was unable to create a backup of my contacts in thunderbird(old PC), via Gmail or manually. is there anyway I could repopulate my email address book via an online backup? or anyway to populate an address book based via my old Received emails?

You could export your Gmail contacts from the Gmail website and import them to TB, or do the same for any other online account you have. It's also possible to scan a mail folder in TB and collect the email addresses: Email Address Crawler.
