Duplicate copies in sent box

I'm using IMAP and have added an Outlook A/C. Every time I send an email two copies are saved in sent box. I've tried unchecking Place a Copy in Sent Folder (as advised in forum) but then it doesn't save a copy in sent folder at all Any suggestions Thank you

It saves a message automatically to the Sent folder on my setup. with the Copies & Folders box unchecked, as recommended. Are you sure it just isn't taking a long time for the message to appear? What settings do you have for the outgoing server - there are some new ones that vastly improve performance.
