Win 10 instructions followed but no option to make firefox default browser
I have carefully followed the instructions given here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-change-your-default-browser-windows-10
However no option for firefox is available in the windows Choose an application the only options are edge, IE and look for app in store

I am pretty sure that 'jamestadd' has done that already .......
As I am on Windows 10, I don't know what the Windows 8.1 settings look like, therefore I'm not the right person to give advice here.
While it was in some ways what I had already tried, it did work.
