When i open Firefox I get my home page but when I open a new tab I get undefined.com tell me to upgrade to new version when I already have the latest version. I didn't have this problem yesterday and I got no new computer updates that I know of.

被選擇的解決方法

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window

DO NOT USE ANY OF THE PROVIDED LINKS

While this may be a legitimate message, it could also be Malware or a Virus. Anytime you want or need to check for upgrades, go to the website of the True Owner of the program in question. For example, to check out Firefox, go to https://www.mozilla.org {web link}

You can report such a site at; Google Report Phishing Page {web link} which is the same when done while on site by going to Help > Report Web Forgery

You may have ad/mal-ware. Further information can be found in this article; https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-caused-malware?cache=no

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.

I had been using FireFox for a while now and always download from the .org site and never had this problem till today,but this just happened and I get concerned with these issues especially when I just built this computer 3 weeks ago using the new AMD Ryzen platform. I'm going to uninstall FireFox and Google, reinstall and see if the helps. I'll let you know. Thanks for the assist.

Thank for the assist guys. The problem was an email add-on trying to access my email through the new Tab. If you look at the screenshot I added, at the end of the URL, it was telling me partially where the problem was. I simply removed that add-on. Problem solved. I also had a problem with the ICloud add-on being undefined and removed it too. Thank again for the help!
