Having issues with trying to get the gray padlock with yellow triangle to go to green padlock

When I play the Miniclip 8 ball pool game, the padlock is gray with the yellow triangle covering it. I tried installing the Unity Web Player as someone else in a Firefox forum suggested, and that changed the padlock to green, UNTIL today when it was back to the gray padlock. I looked at the Unity Player details and it's only good up to Windows 8; I have Windows 10. I uninstalled Unity, as I don't think it works for W10. I have tried the "about:config" trick, changing the "security...etc" setting to true from false; that does not help now. I am at my wits end, because I enjoy playing that pool game, and with the gray padlock/yellow triangle, it affects the play of the game very badly. Any suggestions & help is greatly appreciated !!

The Grey padlock with yellow triangle has nothing to do with unity player, and you can't make it go away. It means the connection between Firefox and the website is only partially encrypted and doesn't prevent eavesdropping. This also appears on websites with self-signed certificates that are not issued by a trusted authority. The website owners need to fix their security to make that go away.

To Tyler,

Not sure what you refer to when you write I can't "make it go away"...........if you refer to the Unity player, I uninstalled it; if you refer to the yellow triangle, there most certainly is a way that's (supposed to) change it back to a green padlock & the info on right on the Firefox site !! The issue I'm having is that when the yellow triangle is there, the game will not play correctly, BUT ( usually ) when the green padlock is showing, the game will almost always play correctly. For the security w/ the owner issue, I will try to let them know, and thank you for your answer.

This could also mean that there is mixed passive content like image coming from an open HTTP link is present on the web page.

You can check the Web Console (Tools -> Web Developer) for error messages about blocked and unsafe and mixed content.
