I used addon TAB GROUPS HELPER. Quantum isn't compatible with this addon. What can be done to restore TAB GROUPS or get list of GROUPS and TABS within them?

In FF 57.0 Quantum many addons became not compatible with it. Quantum was installed automatically without warning that addons will be not compatible with this version and it could cause lost of data. was using TAB GROUP HELPER and stored within groups 100's of tabs. Now I can display one group of tabs opened before installation. How can I display other groups or at least get list of groups and tabs (URL's) within them? Thanks

Romzes, you should be able to go to your Profile folder and find a folder in there called "sessionstore-backups" and files in there called previous.js and restore.js. These are JSON files that will contain your groups, but it can take a little work to dig them out of there.

I would start by copying those two files (or all of the files in that folder) to your C:\temp or other location to at least have a backup of the data. Then you need to extract your groups and tabs somehow.

I wrote a python script for myself a couple years ago to dig my groups and tabs out of these files. There is other software available for looking at JSON files, and there may even be a Firefox add-on for the purpose of extracting these. Hopefully someone with more knowledge here can chime in and help.

I have this problem as well. The tab groups function is an essential part of my life so if there's no way to restore them, is it possible to roll back to previous version of Firefox, before Quantum?
