where is all the support for the thousands of us that cant use the new Firefox . no one cares? read Facebook fan page and see what we are saying
listen , thousands of us on your Facebook mozilla firefox page are complaining about the same thing. Your new quantum udate doesnt work. it is the worst version so far. none of us can use it, it freezes, its very very slow, it errors, its using 5 to 6 firefox.exe processes which is draining all of our physical memory. it just doesnt work, but NO ONE is helping us, so many forum concerns and no answers, there is no link to contact support directly without getting thrown into all the loops on your support page that sends us back to the same page we started from. none of us can use your browswer anymore, does this concern you? why are you hiding from all of us? you have a serious problem with quantum. we need to be able to uninstall it and go back to the previous version and then wait until the next new version, just not quantum. so are you going to respond and help me and all others? so sad because firefox was my main browser of use. now its chrome.

Hi skibum8668, sorry to hear the upgrade was so disruptive for you. There tend to be a lot of differences among users' computers, so rather than try to address thousands of users in one thread, let's talk about your computer.
Extreme Slowness and Freezes
First, please rule out the bug related to Accessibility Services. That is covered in the reply from philipp in the following thread: Firefox 57 hangs up.
We also have general support articles with tips that might be useful:
High Memory Use
Firefox has been a multiprocess application since around Firefox 49. Firefox 54 was the first version that used four content processes, but for many users, Legacy extensions were preventing the full expression of this feature. Therefore, some issues may just be picked up now.
If you want to experiment with reducing the number of content processes, the settings are outlined in this article: Firefox's performance settings.
We also have a general support article on memory use: Firefox uses too much memory or CPU resources - How to fix.
Other Issues
... it freezes, its very very slow, it errors, its using 5 to 6 firefox.exe processes which is draining all of our physical memory.
What are the errors?
we need to be able to uninstall it and go back to the previous version and then wait until the next new version, just not quantum.
There is an article on that, too: Install an older version of Firefox.
