OSX 10.12.6, FF57.0.2: Cant play videos created with Quicktime. Safari and Chrome both play the file
Hi, im on OSX 10.12.6 using FF57.0.2:
The Issue is that I cant play videos created with Quicktime. [the videos are embedded using a html5 video tag
In firefox I only get a grey 'codec not supported screen. Mind Safari and Chrome both play the file [same machine, same video]
I cant provide a link to the website but I made a demo movie file that has the same issue: https://www.dropbox.com/s/w4lynoon0je0g74/iOS%20Simulator%20Recording%20%282%29.mov?dl=0

note that it works for dropbox as well as some other services as they re-encode the movie on their side
Please Refresh but do this 1st:

then
TEST....... If no issues then Extensions which need to be added back in 1 at a time and tested ..... Or it is your Profile : Make a new one and test ...:
If is your Profile :
