Why, when it appears y'all are in Mountain View, by virtue of the physical address on the homepage, have I tracerouted "firefox nightly" to Germany?
Not only tracerouted the IP address that was associated (registered to Mozilla, I do like to cover all the minutae, turns nebulous presumption into unassailable fact, with appropriate supporting documentation of course) with "firefox nightly" to Germany, and even saw a photo of 25 or so people in an office smiling for a group shot they sent, when Germany contemporaneously is a thorn in my side with bullshit computer/phone/ server hacking? I once liked firefox, but y'all keep turning up where you don't belong.

I'm pretty sure most of Mozilla's servers are not located on the absurdly expensive real estate of Silicon Valley...
Which server address were you checking?
Also, note that regardless of the ultimate location of the server, the route a request or response takes will vary based on your carrier or wi-fi service provider's locations and peering connection points.
Mozilla has offices in different parts of the world with Mountain View being their headquarters location. https://www.mozilla.org/contact/spaces/
Mozilla uses a CDN to deliverer the files you download from say a *.mozilla.org page like www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/
Mozilla has been using the CDN since they discontinued the mirrors system they used up til August 2012.
