How to put current site on top sites list?
I want to put current sites on the 'top sites' list from time to time and I wonder what happened to yahoo mail as a top site? It always used to be there and now isn't.
I have another machine also running win10 and firefox and yahoo mail remains there as the first of the top sites, never changes. I use that machine in exactly the same way as I use this one.. go to the same places, do the same things....
but that firefox seems to work differently... witness this top site business...
for both machines I want to know how to do a click and get a current site to be in the topsite list and for this machine I want to know why it hasn't done it itself the way that other one has?

FF doesn't do this that is up to whomever is doing the ratings that set those site ranking. And what site or software are you using that is saying firefox and yahoo mail are top sites?
It is currently not possible with Activity Stream enabled to drag a bookmark or history item to a tile. With Activity Stream enabled there is the "Add" button in the window that opens if you click Edit. This replaces the old way to drag an item to a tile. Edit will appear above the tiles when you hover a tile.
Even though this doesn't really answer your question - these articles may shine a little light on how this now works :
