Does mozilla sell data to 3rd parties?
I reviewed the privacy policy for Firefox but I didn't see anything about whether Mozilla sells any data collected to 3rd parties. Does anyone know and if so, can you point me to the evidence?

Definitely, Mozilla never sells any private data to 3rd parties.
Cool. Do they state that somewhere???

Ugh. Never mind. In further research I came across the MITI initiative. In theory I don't mind Mozilla being a left wing org but the 2 things I'd like to avoid are browsers that productize me (my data) and that (even worse) censor. I thought the latter was a no brainer but apparently not. :(
Thanks for answering though!
MITI doesn't have anything with Firefox, this is separate initiative in a beginning phase. I'm sure that you don't have to be afraid of 'censorship' by Firefox browser.

Yeah, I get that it's not in there now but that's the direction the org is going and to that I say "no thanks". Again, in theory I'm not opposed to an org like Mozilla being left leaning, which is why I was considering coming back after a number of years, but I can't get on board with an org that is going down the road of censorship, working to suppress content because it has declared the content to be fake. I'm a big boy. I can make those determinations for myself.
Very kind of you to take the time to answer. Have a great day.
