When I close a tab, or close any tab, how do I set the tabs to automatically focus on the right tab in Mac firefox 60, instead of the left?
Dear wonderful people at Mozilla Forums, I really do miss Tab Mix Plus, which allowed me total tab control. Whenever I close a tab, the focus jumps to the Left tab of the tab I just closed. I would like the focus set to the Right tab, as i work progressively from Left to Right though my tabs. Can anyone please tell me how to Set Focus to the Right tab upon closing a tab? Much thanks. Be well. /s/ Nik

Hi, looking at extensions and there seems to be one for Focus on the Left. Firefox normally focuses on the right or opener tab
This may do some of what you want : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/select-after-closing-current/
More info than extension re: tab mix plus https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tab-mix-plus-webextension/
I tried the Select After Closing add-on and adjusted the setting so that once I close a tab, focus is to the Right tab, however, Firefox "seemed" to want to focus on the right, but jumps back to the Left tab. When I close a tab, I see a slight flash and then the Left tab opens. Maybe the issue is somewhere within Firefox? Does anyone know where in about: config I can look to see if there is an internal Firefox instruction for tab to focus to the Left tab as opposed to the Right tab once a tab is closed? Let me know further. Much appreciated.
