How to change the default language of new emails
I have 2 languages installed on Thunderbird (52.7.0(32 bit) on Windows 10): English and French. Until very recently whenever I started a new email the default language was English, but now Thunderbird has taken upon itself to set French as the default. How do I re-set the default language back to English?

Excellent. It's easy when you know how (but I'm intrigued to know how it changed from English to French all of its own accord). Thank you very much for your very prompt and precise answer to my query
