I have installed firefox as my browser but want google as my homepage - so i DO NOT want to set it as my homepage. I keep getting Firefox Privacy Notice popping up every time i open a new tab. I have been in and blocked notifications but this will not stop the page opening. It is extremely annoying - how can i stop this! I want to keep firefox as my browser but i hate this popping up ALL THE TIME!!

Hi, I am sure there is a name and information on this pop-up as I do not know what it is. So for dealing with this privacy notice you should be able to fix it with the below URL

Please Copy/Paste about:preferences#home into the Address Bar then Enter Remove the Check Marks in Everything. Under Home Page stick in the URL you want and save current page as you are already on the page you want.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

HI, as you know using all caps is considered shouting and is impolite and rude. As a Support Volunteer trying to help you please be a little more considerate. As I mentioned there is a few things on the URL in the troubleshooting section.

I do not think there are large amounts of Support Articles that are written specifically to disable things. So sometimes you have to reverse the process or read what is written.

Send a screenshot of the offending pop-up please : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-screenshots
