Went from Vista to 10 with new laptop cannot access facebook at all how do I do this?

Purchased a new laptop for W10, the old laptop had Vista which was no longer working as well as it did. Try as I might, I cannot access Facebook with Firefox, yet had no problems on the Vista. Facebook keeps asking same questions over and over and over, I answer, and get nowhere fast. Tried opening a new Facebook account, cannot! I'm 74 and this is just so aggravating and disheartening...I cannot afford to have someone come in and teach me the new stuff. Please supply an answer. Thank you.

Facebook help is no help...keeps asking same questions, doesn't give answers, doesn't open my account, doesn't let me open a new account, and wants "face recognition" ID. Sent picture of my dog and I, isn't good enough! Wants me to scan ID - driver's licence, etc....seriously, for a social media they are not very social. At 74, Canadian, female, I am hardly a security threat, especially when I can barely use this W10! Ah, what I wouldn't give to continue with slow Vista!
