Scan Document to Thunderbird Email
Unable to scan document to email using Brother printer. Settings OK. Thunderbird is set as default email. Brother & Microsoft cannot resolve this issue via remote access to the laptop.

is that a 32 bit windows or 64bit? I can see you are posting from a 64bit version.
have you tried the newly released V60 which has some fixes to MAPI the process used by windows to attach things to email? Does the brother product check for an email address. That is not mapi but emapi and only works would outlook.
Windows 64. Uninstalled TB and installed Version 60.0 yesterday, via the Website, an update to this will be available in New Zealand shortly. Uninstalled and reinstalled software for printer. I have been able to scan to email up until the last week. I do not have outlook installed
