Opened Thunderbird today to find all my email accounts missing

more options

When I opened Thurnderbird today all my email accounts were missing. Please see image to see what I am seeing when I start the program.

I have had a look at my profile folder and all my email still seem to be in there. I have no idea how to link my profile folder back to the Thunderbird program.

Any help fixing this problem will be appreciated.

I am using Windows 10 with Thunderbird 52.9.1

Thanks

Is your Folder Pane down the left side missing? Go to Options-Layout and turn the older Pane back on.

If that is not the issue post a screen shot of what your screen looks like.

Thanks for the reply. I will have a look at this when I get back to my laptop. As far as I remember there was nothing there. Its was as if I had just download Thunderbird and it was asking to add accounts.

Thunderbird does have a history of losing track of your profile. This article describes it and how to fix. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Recovering_a_profile_that_suddenly_disappeared
