How can't I get rid of {permanently} phantom folders.

Phantom folders [that you cannot access and apparently are empty] keep re-building themselves with every start up of Thunderbird. I keep deleting them, but, they rebuild themselves.

To open the profile folder, select Help/Troubleshooting Information, click Open Folder to open the folder in File Explorer. Close TB before deleting any files.
