Firefox normally stores profile data in your user or home folder (varies by OS). These can be used with the Restore feature. It would be most convenient to copy them to the bookmarkbackups folder in your current running installation of Firefox but you also can restore a file from anywhere (using "Choose File" at the bottom of the Restore menu). On Linux the main profile folder is in the hidden <b>~/.mozilla/firefox/</b> location in your home directory.
