Help with tree tabs addon

I'm looking for advice on the Tree Tab addon. I'm getting no response from the developer.

First, the tab sequence in the tree tab menu has no relationship to the tab order on my tab bar. It's totally mixed up. Makes no sense to me. I want the tree tab tab order to mirror the tab tar.

Secondly, I really just basically want want to use tree tabs menu without the family/grouping action. Like all tabs helper for example.

If theses things can't be done, maybe someone could suggest an alternative addon.

Are you referring to this add-on? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/tree-style-tab/

Sorry, I can't help with any Tree Tab add-ons as I don't used that type of add-on.
