Favorites no longer autofill when typing in address bar, now have to scroll down through all bookmarks matching text entered.
For the longest time I could type the first few letters of a favorite site, hit enter, and get there. Now I have to scroll through the list of matching bookmarks, even if there is only one. For example, to get to my YouTube bookmark, "https://www.youtube.com/feed/subscriptions" I'd start typing "yout" and usually by the second or third letter the bookmark would fill into the address bar, I could hit enter/return, and be good to go. This was the same with all sites I used frequently, on different computers, both Windows and Mac. To get to my main eBay account page I could type "e" then hit enter, now it's down in a list of twenty different eBay items I have bookmarked. Is there just a preference I'm missing? Or did we lose this feature with an update?

Hi, please read through carefully, and check your settings/selected preferences (especially under 'How can I control what results the address bar shows me?)' in this article Address bar autocomplete suggestions in Firefox. Note that you will need to make sure that History is set to be remembered, and you aren't using Private Browsing Settings for privacy, browsing history and do-not-track
If your question is resolved by this or another answer, please take a minute to let us know. Thank you!
It also could be this:
Firefox 62 changed the way the address bar suggests bookmarks that have less history or zero history. After learning how this impacts users, this will change back (or at least be improved) in Firefox 63.
