Display seems corrupted when hovering menus and window controls

This happened after upgrading to Thunderbird 60. When I open thunderbird the main window looks fine, but when I hover on parts of the window it flickers and become black. Sometimes it will also make the window size smaller. Also happens when opened in safe mode.
