Hi,

I've moved back to Firerfox for better privacy than the detestable one of Chrome, but the reason I went to Chrome in the first place was because of the slowness and lagging issues I have with Firefox.

I've tried as much as I can think of, reinstalling, refreshing, clearing caches , changing hardware acceleration option, etc. I've looked for as much troubleshooting info as possible but nothing seems to work. But things like youtube where the videos remain on poor quality, scrolling is very rough, typing lags etc, and is intolerable for the rig I have. Some times when I minimise and restore up and down it temporarily fixes the issue but not for long, especially when opening new tabs. And I never have more than a few taps open.

It seems to run better when I move over to my smaller monitor but I don't understand why when everything else runs fine, as I have sufficient hardware for both.

I've included as much info, if theres any more I can provide please let me know, as I like Mozilla's versatility and privacy balance and don't want to go looking for another browser. I'd like to keep using Firefox but won't be able to stick with it as it severly affects experience, video playback etc

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Disabled Hardware Acceleration, big improvement.

You can also try to disable accessibility services in Firefox.
