All of my bookmarks are gone. Firefox wasn't even shut down, only minimized. I had bookmarks earlier today, now they are all gone
Using Macbook Pro. I had my computer sleeping and Firefox minimized. I had bookmarks earlier and a bunch on the bookmarks toolbar....now I have nothing.
When I go to view all bookmarks > Import > Restore, I have no dated backups listed at all. Nothing. Has it all been lost? Do I have no Firefox profile backups? Any way to get this information back?

Did you try to reboot the computer as this is usually the first to try in cases like this?
You can check for problems with the places.sqlite (bookmarks and history) and favicons.sqlite files in the Firefox profile folder.
- use "Verify Integrity" button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page
in case errors are reported close and restart Firefox and retry
