PIV card with multiple certificates but firefox always (wrongly) chooses the first one

I am trying to use my PIV card with firefox, but cannot get it to work. I have installed all the required middleware (pcsc, opensc, etc.), and loaded opensc-pcs11.so as a security device in settings. Firefox recognizes the PIV card and asks for my PIN when I go to the site I'm trying to access, but is never actually able to authenticate. I believe that this is because the PIV card has multiple identities on it (I know this for certain), and the one I want is the second one; I suspect firefox is defaulting to the first one, for which I do not have the PIN. Is there a way to get firefox to allow me to choose which PIV identity I want to to use?

I am using a debian 9-based linux distro and firefox 60.5.1(esr) 64 bit.

Thanks!
