I have a old Android phone vs930 runs jellybean I think 2.2.3 droid. My son is interested in learning Firefox and things because the neighbor told him about it I'm fairly competent I use Firefox browser is the b2g os able to put on this phone it's only able to use wifi I deleted all other programs besides basic internet and games for the kids

I am really sorry, but Firefox for Android will not run on Android 2.
You will need a more modern device typically using a version of Android in advance of version 5 or 6 to make use of Firefox for Android.
