Update has everything everywhere
Hey,
So Firefox updated to 68, it created a new profile, that's fine, my old profiles were fine, but as soon as I sign in to my Firefox account and sync, they're not. I had to change a whole bunch of settings back to how I had them. I'm also trying to install the Dashlane Extension, but everytime I do, it keeps opening the new profile Firefox made, and I can't get in on the old ones. Do i now have to recreate all my old profiles?

If external links launch a different profile, your "default" profile may not be aligned with the one you prefer.
Next time you use an external link and get an unfamiliar Firefox, try this:
Profile Manager Page
Type or paste about:profiles in the address bar and press Enter/Return to load it.
This page should list at least one profile, and possibly several. (Each profile has two folders and one or more buttons. Do not use any Remove buttons!)
The profile the current Firefox window is currently using will have this:
This is the profile in use and it cannot be deleted.
If another profile is running it will have this longer text:
This profile is in use in another application and it cannot be deleted.
If you see that, does that profile have a button labeled Set as default profile? If so, please click that to align the external link behavior with your preferred settings.
Any luck?
Hey, there is no longer sentence associated with profiles. There is just the profiles I have made, and then a default release one, made from the update. I think the app is using this one, however it doesn't have that sentence. I will try to copy my settings from my preferred profile to this one. That being said, can I then delete my old profiles and make new ones, or should I keep them?
My suggestion: do not delete any profiles until everything is well settled and you make a backup of your important data.
