Pretty much the title. I did the new Firefox install on my new Windows 10 PC. Signed in. And nothing. My theme, my search preferences, not to mention all the important stuff in the title... all missing.

Everything seems fine with my iOS Firefox. But even that wont sync the passwords and bookmarks back to the new PC.

Well, I guess I thought my profile was saved on a Mozilla cloud somewhere.

Like when I get a new iPhone, sign in and my apps and background pics and passwords just show up and sync themselves up to how the old phone was set up.

So, I guess now I’m just trying to get my passwords and bookmarks from my IPhone/Firefox on to the new pc/Firefox.

Sync doesn’t seem to be working for just passwords and bookmarks either.

We need to look at the sync logs.

Note: Do the following for each problem system/profile. And label each as to what system/profile.

Type about:sync-log<enter> in the address bar.

Open the last file created and Copy its contents Now Paste it into this forum.

If the file is too large;

Open a text/word program and load the file. Left-click once. Now <Control> A to highlight everything, then <Control> C to copy it.

Next, have your web browser go to; https://pastebin.com/

Paste <Control> P the content of the file in the window. Note: On the bottom, fill out the boxes as best you can.

Now press Create A New Paste. The page will reload. Copy the new web address, and post it here.

No. Again, I thought the great part of this whole Profile/sync thing was that I could “just sign in anywhere!” And get all my settings to match.

Ive got nothing in about:sync-log. Shows me the file location.

Index of file:///C:/Users/****/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/********.default-release/weave/logs/

With an empty list-form. And one click-able link "Up to higher level directory"
