Update to v 68.2.2 gets part way through then hangs, despite uninstall, fresh install
The update to this version gets as far as the screenshot and then display "applying update" and that's as far it gets. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, no joy. I am using AVGfree and tried adding Thunderbird as an exception, no joy

Backup the dir that has your user profile & email. Then uninstall tb and include user data. reinstall from scratch the latest and restore your backed up profile data..

To restore your functionality, did you do only reinstall the program? Or did you also restore your profile data?
