When I click on a new email, it should no longer show it as unread (be unbolden), now it stays bold. Is there a fix>
see screenshot, normally when the mouse is over an unread email it should be unbolden, as if it was read. please advise, now i have to open the email to make them unread or delete them..

If the Message Pane (F8) is closed, as in your picture, selecting a message in the Threads Pane does not mark it as read, because the message hasn't been opened. It will be marked as read if you double-click (open) the message, or have the Message Pane open.

Hi There are settings to control how 'mark as read' works. Have you tried changing them? Options - Display - Advanced tab. See image. Agnes
Hi Agnes, I tried fiddling with that and it was not a fix.
