Copy message headers to clipboard disappeared from right-click menu

more options

It used to be that upon encountering a "suspicious" email, I had the option to right-click the message then copy either the message headers or the entire message to the clipboard. This provided me with a safety net in that it felt safer viewing the message in a text editor.

However, this option appears to have recently disappeared. Was it removed by recent update or am I missing something?

Any help would be much obliged.

That feature is provided by the ImportExportTools NG add-on.

That hit the nail on the head, sfhowes. What happened was, I actually had that add-on but upon update to version 68.7.0 that add-on became incompatible, making that right-click option defunct.

I'm pretty sure I can accomplish the same end result when suspicious of an email by VIEW > MESSAGE BODY AS > PLAIN TEXT, correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks for clearing up that mystery.

The ImportExportTools add-on was abandoned after the release of TB 68, but the ImportExportTools NG add-on was developed by a different author for TB 60 and 68. So, if you remove the old add-on and install the new one, the copy options in the context menu will reappear.

You're absolutely correct. I uninstalled the defunct add-on and installed the new one and it worked. Thanks!
