Unable to import mbox file with ImportExportToolsNG (gmail)

Hi, I'm unable to import an mbox file using ImportExportToolsNG to my gmail account. When I select "Import mbox file" from the dropdown in the tools menu I get the following error: "Impossible to import in this folder (imap or newsgroup type)" I am running Thunderbird 68.10.0 (x64) on Linux.
