Thunderbird Inbox.
When I work my Inbox, the Inbox itself disappears each time I delete a message. I have to hold down the left arrow in the top line and wait for the subject line of every message ever deleted to scroll by left to right, then click on the "inbox" in the same top line. The wait gets longer with each day's inbox emptied.

Do you have too many tabs open? Right-click any tab, Close Other Tabs.
