Check updates for endless time
I have a problem with firefox 84.0 (64bits) used with windows 7pro. During a restart it works the first time you open it. If I want to use it later without restarting it goes around in circles it checks for updates for an endless time

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
