Google search is redirecting to Yahoo!
When I try to search with Google, I get redirected to yahoo. Obviously some kind of malware has embedded itself. I have tried everything to remove it from Firefox. Please help.

Try using a malware removal tool, like Malwarebytes for Mac to see if that can find and remove the source of the problem.
