What versions of vcard format are handled ?
I want to import a vcard 3.0 file generated by another mail client, but I get some errors. What versions of the vcard RFC are handled by Thunderbird ?

what errors? My understanding it V78 brought the vcards up to V4 from V1
That's the point. I don't know them. I only know that when I import my contacts, some of them are missing in Thunderbird, and the program tell me some of them will be missing due to some errors... I have fix some issues in the file (like the "%" character in the "ADDR" field bring an error and disallow the contact import and all contacts placed after it in the file).
