firefox is my default browser, but if i try to open a link via Mail on my Macbook Pro 13" 2012, it always opens in Safari or any another browser i have installed on my MacBook. Can anyone explain how i can get them to open in firefox?

hello mmmtaz,
while i do not use a mac, ms windows has a feature to set default programs, like what should be the default email program, default word processing program, etc..
so it sounds like your system is not setting the firefox browser as your default browser when opening url links.
so check around your mac o.s. to set your default programs.
additionally, you can google on "how to set your default browser to firefox in mac os".
