I delted an email account by accident, how can I recover it and my sub folders?

I accidentally deleted an email account on Thunderbird Mozilla, My email person said to just recreate the account and all my information would be there!! it's not I lost all my sub folders and information?? how can I recover my account and sub folders?? Thank you Doug
