Double browser in default mode
When Firefox is my default browser and I click a link in my email two browsers open, one with the link i clicked on and one with my homepage

Can you please provide a screenshot/clip of such incident for further elaboration?
Image 1 is from clicking on your email link. Image 2 is the same ,but I moved the browser down so you could see both
This is a known bug on Catalina when you open an external link when Firefox isn't running.
