Using diacritical marks in a chosen foreign language
I've just added French as a Firefox language choice. The next need is to be able to write in French websites using characters that include French diacritical marks (accents, cedillas, etc.) How can I do that with my standard American keyboard? I'm using Windows 10 Professional on a PC desktop, but I don't know whether this is a Windows issue or a Firefox issue or even what to do if I'm told that it's one or the other. Using my word processor (Libre Office) I know how to do this, but not while using Firefox. Usually, French websites (in my limited experience) seem quite accommodating when it comes to Americans leaving out diacritical marks, but I just got into an important French website that insists on CORRECT FRENCH! Are there perhaps special add-ons for this?

You can use the United States-International keyboard layout in Windows to make some keys act as dead keys.
