I have completely lost my emails on Thunderbird. Was trying to make account sync with AOL. Please help.

I have lost all my Thunderbird emails. Was trying to make my Thunderbird (old Verizon) account sync with AOL. Please can you help me? Thunderbird didn't seem to accept my AOL password.

IF your account was IMAP, then that is probably to be expected.

If you account was POP and you deleted it as their disgraceful instructions suggest, you have deleted them.

So I guess we should start with exactly what you did. Did you delete the account?
