Firefox is crashing
Thunderbird-emails with links. Links won't open w Firefox. issue is only 2 weeks old. Have been using this setup for about 10 years.
System 7;
- Tools say Firefox is update.
- Webroot says no malware issues.
- I shut down computer.
- I ran an Firefox refresh
- I restarted computer
- Crash report popup was filled out many times. It says report was filed.
I just received yet another popup: Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window. I only have one version of Firefox.
I prefer to talk to technicians.
Update: This issue doesn't relate to "Mail to" when firefox is open. This relates to open emails with links. Links won't open. None of the suggested hints apply.

I would try rebooting the computer. Run this app Process Explorer to see what process is really running if Windows keep telling that Firefox is already running. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer
I would also boot Windows into Safe Mode and see if you still have the same issue. You should also run another app like Malwarebytes to see if you get different results.
Sorry about the black and white pic, but something is going on with Win7 only uploads to this server.
In the address box, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP- in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most recent 7 - 10 Submitted crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box and paste them in.
