On financial websites investment gains are displayed in green and losses in red. However, very recently the numbers are only displayed in black. Also, sometimes numbers are not displayed at all or only partially. This started within the last month. I should add that in Chrome this problem does not occur.

I cleared recent history and cache. Problem solved. Thanks to all to read about my issue. Apparently, outdated code stored in either the recent history or cache areas caused a conflict with the most recent version of FF. Lesson learned - again.

Does it happen if you start Firefox in troubleshoot mode? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems

I have an add-on which can do that to green characters. As you can see from the first article, the cause may be something other than an add-on. Incidentally, on a site I use, gains are still in green and losses in red.
