Cannot rename Bookmarks on a Android 11 phone
I cannot rename saved Bookmarks. I can go through the process but after finishing, the Bookmark is NOT renamed in the Bookmarks list.
This is very inconvenient. This needs to be fixed. I am using a Samsung Galaxy A12 phone.
Another unrelated question is concerning coping and pasting URLS. I can't paste them elsewhere but I guess that needs to be addressed separetly.

After you edit the name of the bookmark, you need to click the check mark in the upper right corner to save your changes. Did you do that?

I have just tried this myself and the bookmark is renamed.
What is the process that you are following?

You could also sync your Firefox with a PC/laptop and create a bookmark on said device
The issue is not resolved. Why can't I change the name of a Bookmark and have it show the new name when the Bookmarks are displayed again?

Could you walk us through the exact steps you are going through?
I tap on the three dots on the upper right corner of the screen and tap on Bookmarks. I then tap on the three dots to the right of the Bookmark I want to edit and change the text on the top line, select Next and then done. When I go back to Bookmarks, the text change is not done as the name is still the same!

No, because the word Next is on the keyboard and when clicked on, the button says "Done." Tapping on the checkmark therefore is not intuitive.

Whether or not it is intuitive, that is what I did and it save the change I made to the bookmark name.
