Firefox blocking hyperlinks
Having checked with the Financial Times technical support, it seems that Firefox is blocking hyperlinks on my FT digital pages. This is something that started only a few months ago. Is there a setting in Firefox that I can use to cancel this unblocking; or do I need to do something else? The FT technical support suggest I switch to Chrome as a browser. I would rather stick with Firefox, but this problem is particularly irritating. Best regards, Ian

Where are these hyperlinks, are they in emails you received from FT? Can you post a screenshot of what happens when you click on the link?
Many thanks for getting back to me. The problem is on FT digital pages (not emails). Here is a screenshot of typical page. On the left-hand side you can see links to Twitter, Facebook etc. There should also be one that says Share. It is absent on all FT pages. FT technical support tell me it's Firefox that blocks the relevant hyperlink.
As a test, try to click the shield icon in the URL bar, and turn off Enhanced tracking protection for that site.
Nice try. As you suggested, I turned off Enhanced Tracking protection for FT.com. Unfortunately, that still has not solved the problem. But thank you anyway. All ideas are much appreciated.
Do you use any privacy-oriented add-ons? Some of those might remove social media buttons.
