Was unable to download new messages, was directed to try various things to free up space, such as deleting email. But the TRASH folder was full and I could not delete anything. Properties for TRASH folder did not show a record count or the amount of space being used. Eventually I was able to empty TRASH file, but when I try to display Properties, the result is an (apparently) infinite loop. Trying to display TRASH records results in the same thing. Now INBOX says it is downloading 4528 messages ? Apparently it is reloading email since Oct 9. How do I re-stabilize TB to process normally ?

I see it is downloading some 4000 messages according to your post, as newest messages always download last, I suggest you wait until is completes the download before assuming anything about new messages.

Matt, the real problem is that I cannot recreate a Trash folder for TB. Have tried to follow instruction in the "Cannot Delete Messages" doc, but do not know how to address the third item in the recommendation, namely how do I find the MAP (POP) file. I cannot proceed further until this is resolved. Meanwhile I cannot delete records from the Inbox, since there is no Trash folder. I am new to this forum and apologize for any breach of protocol (repeating a request).
