Syncing destroys my homepage every time
On my main laptop I built a nice homepage with shortcuts that I use regularly. I would like this exact homepage on all the devices where I sign in with my Firefox account. Instead, every time I sign into a new device and sync, my homepage is completely destroyed and scrambled on all devices, including my main laptop and I have to painstakingly recreate the homepage I want. What is going wrong here? How can I set up one homepage on one device that will be synced to all other devices?

Try downloading Firefox from Mozilla, unzip, and run firefox-bin from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release
What OS? What Desktop? X11 or Wayland?
Hi there, thanks for your answer. This problem happens across devices with different operating systems (Mac OS, Ubuntu 22.04.1 Xorg and Wayland, other windows devices).
On my Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS device (Xorg) I tried your suggestion with downloading and running Firefox from firefox-bin and same problem.
Your sites are all pinned right?

Yes, all of them are pinned and have a meaningful name tag that I have given. Which adds to my frustration. On new logins, all sites are unpinned, renamed to the original (usually a short handle of the webpage address) and a mix of sites I want there + sites from my browser history I visit but don't need on the homepage + sponsored sites like Amazon and Adidas although the tick box for sponsored site suggestions is unticked in the settings.
